I was quite nervous about the process, but my car arrived right on time without any issues. I would like to give extra kudos to Michael Depina. He picked up our car and was incredibly friendly and supportive. He put us at ease and provided exceptional customer service. Thank you!

terrible service..they picked up my car 12/28/23 to be delivered from ma to sc...they said 4-6 days for delivery 01/01/24-01/03/24...on 1/6/24 the car was only in ct..they promised car would be there 01/07/24...the car didn't arrive until 01/08/24...i had to rent a car for 5 days and they refused to refund me money...do not use this company.

1st looked at another auto transporter, Promises not keep. went back to Amerian Auto Transporters (have use twice previously) We had a Kia Sorento shipped to my daughter in the Florida Keys, Marathon. We drove it down from NH to Canton Ma. Their attitude was great, she received the car in less then a week. It was delivered to her at the K-Mart parking lot. Such great friendly service, promises keep, Highly Recommend. Enough said. Thank you American Auto Transporters, Canton Mass. Mark and Lynda Silegy, Ctr Barnstead NH.

I was nervous shipping my second-most-valuable possession from Canton MA to Cocoa Beach FL via American Auto Transporters.
I needn't have been. The minute I clapped eyes on the owner, NICK HUNTER, I knew all would be well. And it was.
My only complaint was that the north bound driver didn't communicate his arrival. I called AAT in Canton and they gave his estimated time of arrival. They were exactly right.
The reviews on this sort of service are confusingly all over the place. But be assured, this is good company. You can ship w/o feeling nervous.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0

My reply to his "I'm innocent..." response to my review has been removed. I meant what I said, and I've given AAT lots of latitude over the years.

We have followed all procedures and provided all necessary documentation to assist with your alleged damage claims. Once claims have been submitted to insurance it is up to them to make decision on what is covered and what is not. Apparently one vehicle damage was covered and the other was not.
We understand you are upset about the outcome but claim decisioning was not up to us.
As mentioned before in several conversations It is crucial that any new damages be noted at the time of delivery , not doing so may have resulted in the 2nd claim being denied.
As a loyal customer you received discounted ship rates and American Auto values the years you shipped with us.Jul 14, 2020Previous reviewOver and out with this company. We have used their services for quite a few years now and I have been very loyal to them, but no more.
Both of our cars were damaged on last year's trip from NH to FL -- one car was covered by insurance; we were left with $1000 out of pocket to pay for the repair. No amount of checking in with AAT office staff by me would expedite assistance in having the carrier's insurance reimburse us...I sent emails and made phone calls and received the silent treatment from AAT, as did the collections company assigned by our insurance company (they received a little help, but nothing came of it). They select the carrier but do nothing to support customers who have problems with the carrier. No service at all.
I have been spoken to in a very rude manner by the owner, and office staff are unhelpful -- information has to be pulled out of them.
This year we were not invited to ship our cars with them...that is absolutely fine with me. Good company.May 23, 2013Previous reviewThis is a complicated industry, and you have to know how it works so you don't imagine that this company is not doing its job correctly. They know exactly what they are doing, and how to do it as efficiently as possible.
We recently had American Auto Transporters transfer our two BMWs from St. Pete, Florida, to southern New Hampshire. Everything went smoothly from the pick up at our condo building in St. Pete to the drop off right here in our driveway. Very dissapointed with my experience. American Auto Transporters came highly recommended to me by a couple of people which is why I went with them even though they were the most expensive. I called made arrangements got my contract, reviewed it immediately, found an error in the address, called right back corrected the error, and asked for a revised copy to be emailed which I received. We weren't going to be in FLA to receive the car so I signed a waiver for them to just drop the car. If it weren't for the People at Mikes Auto Towing in Venice Fl I'm sure the car would have been lost forever. Not one single piece of info or document was sent to Mikes Auto all of the information they had was completely incorrect. No waiver, wrong address. Absurd. Really unprofessional, and unapologetic when I called. I mean that is the entire point of their business, thats it, to get your car to its destination. I would never use them again, I will also let the people know who recommended them to me and I will never recommend them to any Boston person we know in Fla. Worst. Maybe a little sit down with your office help about the importance of follow through is in order. Would be great if one hand knew what the other was doing

Joyce C.Johnston, RI1115Jul 13, 2020My husband and I had never transported a car before. Our friends used Auto transporters of Canton Ma. a few weeks ago and highly recommended the service so we decided to give them a try as we needed to bring our car back from Fl. To Rhode Island.
Auto Transporters is a contractor and contracted Yellow Transporter out of Fl to transport our friends car from Fl. When I called, I asked for the same company and the same driver Julio.
Dorothy at Auto Transporters made all the arrangements. She took the credit card payment, emailed me all the documents and provided proof of insurance for Yellow Transporters. She was so kind and professional as I called a few times with questions.
The driver picked up the car on a Friday and delivered the car on Sunday at 1:00 pm. I received text messages notifying me when the car would be at the delivery destination and also for initial pick up. The driver arrived exactly on time and he was so nice. Thank you Julio!
